With many thanks going to [info]purestarlove in conjunction with [info]shuralove who gave me the two ideas that bore this particular day's offering...

On the ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me

nine artistic shots...

With explanations...

I'll start with a safe one - backs. There will be more backs to come in this post - there's something about the form, whether it be a woman's or a man's back, the muscles, the way it moves... Yes. I have a thing for backs.

The rest shall go under a cut. At least one NSFW. This has been your warning. )

Boobs and Boys

  • Dec. 20th, 2009 at 11:24 PM
Courtesy of …sorry, forgot in my excitement, on TAM:

Ignore stupid, annoying moderator (he's even worse when you have to endure him in the same room and over one hour, and be lucky you don't hear the songs in the charts), marvel at gorgeous, goooorrrrrrgeous boys, and spot Stef's boobs(pervy camera man…)

Aaah, where we stood we could see them before they entered the stage, and I turned my head and… they were there. :O
And I was like: Don't stare, don't stare. *grinning-stupidly-at-them*
Dom gave me his mega hundred watt grin and Matt smiiiiiled. And he is so so so filigrain, so small and fragile. *sigh*
So beautiful.

And in case the fact that I only see a white block embbed is not just my super lame internet connection, here's the link:

On the seventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me

Seven Merlin stories...

"Next Time, I Will Remember This And I Will Say 'No'." ~ [info]paperclipbitch
Summary: “Arthur wants you to pretend to be him so that he doesn’t have to get married to Princess Helena?”

But It's Enough ~ [info]lastling
Just read it. Gorgeous in an understated way.

.veritas - Festive ~ [info]thisissirius
Summary: "I hate winter," Arthur says, softly.

Of The Vertiginous Sacrifice of Sentiments ~ [info]halighfataliter
Summary: Arthur comes back in the secret hours of dusk, draped in pale grey light and tiredness. (Coda to Episode 8 of Series 1)

RPS
And Nobody Wears A Crown ~ [info]coffeejunkii
Summary: A story about a summer in France, in which Bradley finds himself intrigued by Irish names, Colin reads a lot, Angel and Katie are their usual innocent selves, and a few moments change everything.

Reverse Karma and Soggy Converse - Festive! ~ [info]calliglad
Author's Notes: It’s inspired by the unprecedented snowstorm that hit Southern Britain at the start of February, so I’d like you to all close your eyes and pretend they started filming the second series of Merlin in February, not January.

Questions ~ [info]mrs_leary
Summary: Colin and Bradley finally start asking each other the questions that have intrigued them.

Do you long for snow during the winter holidays? Would you prefer to spend your holidays in the tropics or in a winter wonderland?

Snow of course. Don't like the warmth that much. Okay, I freeze rather easily, too, but snow makes it all better. :)

Title: Complexity
Fandom: Twilight series
Pairing: eventual Marcus/Seth
Part: III. Departures and New Arrivals
Prompt: 001. Bitter ; 008. never
Words: 6166 words
Summary: Volterra was his prison, an entire city, but it didn't make up for the fact that he was alone and tortured. There had to be something to make this death sentence worthwhile.
Disclaimer: I don't own the Twilight series, and I don't claim to own it either. It belongs to Stephanie Meyer, and I only write these things to satisfy the muses and make nothing from it.
I promised Esme that I would. )

Silent Night [ Christmas Challenge ]

  • Dec. 18th, 2009 at 1:42 AM
Notes: There was a challenge on the Writer's Muse guild of which I am a member on GaiaOnline, and I decided that I would participate since I felt like jumping on the bandwagon because I do have quite a number of Christmas presents which need to be written. This is just a little something for all of you. Ignore the cheesy title, I suppose... I couldn't think of anything better... and I was listening to Christmas music too.
Title: Silent Night
Fandom: Twilight series
Pairing: Marcus/Seth
Prompt: Write a piece of literature somehow dealing with Saint Nicholas or his counterpart, Santa Claus.
Rating: pg
Words: 2607 words
Disclaimer: I don't own the Twilight series and I never will. This is all Meyer's; I just borrow the characters to satisfy my muses for my own enjoyment and hopefully that of others. No money was made from this endeavor.
A few words for the masses. )

[original] Momentum; Part I

  • Dec. 17th, 2009 at 9:15 PM
Okay... A distinctly longer part now. This is the story proper. Your first glimpse of Joe, and a bit of scene setting. To all those reading who live outside of the UK/England, this story is based around the UK schooling system. Sixth form basically caters for 17 and 18 year olds. Upper sixth is Year 13 which is 17-18 year olds and Year 12, 16-17 year olds. (Satisfied [info]heart_scribble? :p)

I'd also like to share the little fact that Sarah is loosely based (or not so loosely) on a girl that I went to school with. And Joe... Yes. I'll leave that there. /cryptic.

I'm hoping you'll see a distinct difference between who Ben is now, and who he was then. I don't think I need to explain much more about this, other than saying... this is my baby. *pets lovingly* And I was overwhelmed with the comments on the short prologue. I hope this doesn't disappoint. ♥

Prologue

Title: Momentum; Part I
Author: [info]ebonystar
Rating: PG
Summary: Ben begins to remember when it all began to change - his first meeting with Joe is replayed - and the question that is to change his life is asked.
Disclaimer: All my own work. Comments appreciated.

Word count; 4, 264

So... the observant among you will have noticed that I didn't post day four yesterday... but I have today (I just backdated it, so it is there XD) and today I decided to go a little classical. I've picked five tracks that I love, quite at random. Three more 'classical' pieces, one choral and one piano. I hope you like. ♥

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love sent to me

five classical tracks...
